To Privatise or Not To Privatise? That is the question….
27 JulOK, so….
As I was setting this up, it occurred to me to make it a private site, so that it didn’t get overrun with people from very varied backgrounds and industries subscribing.
But perhaps that actually makes it harder to subscribe to and be part of?
What do you guys think? Best to keep it private and see how it goes, or open it up then lock it down later if it does get a little unwieldy?

21 JulSo we’re off! Slowly but surely.
Feel free to invite any colleagues/mates you like to the site, using the USERS>Invites section of the Dashboard, inviting them to be a contributor. You can all, as contributors, write posts on the site. The more users, the better the site content will be!
A good thing to do is quickly update your Gravatar (the little pictures on the Sidebar menu). You can hover over different Gravatars, then select the user name to go to that person’s Gravatar page. Here you can list simple contact info so that other FILO users can get in touch with you directly if they like.

19 JulWelcome to First In, Last out – a network connecting practitioners in the performing arts and cultural events, primarily in Project, Production and Stage Management; Design and Production Staffing.
Primarily the site will be a blog, offering the chance to post gigs, professional development opportunities, social get-togethers and handy info.
