Using Categories

In order for people to get the most out of the site, it’s important to use the categories so it’s easy to find the most up-to-date news from different parts of the site.

LATEST
Got some news, or want to direct people’s attention to something, this is the section to use – category LATEST.

PLUGS
Want everyone to come see your show? Put the details, including fliers or show images, into a post and categorise it PLUGS.

SOCIAL
It’s time to get out of the venue, away from the computer and into a bar with the rest of the FILO crew. If you’ve got a happening or just fancy a quiet pint some night, post under category SOCIAL.

GIGS
If you’d like to post a job, list it under the category GIGS, and put in the basic details. You can also put in a custom form, allowing people to quickly enter their details and shoot them to you as an email.

UPSKILLING
So you think it’s time to update your first aid certification, get a forklift ticket or do a CAD masterclass? Often these activities can be cheaper if done as a group, so use FILO to get a gang together and keep your skills up – make sure to categorise your post under UPSKILLING. You can also create a poll, as per the below, to suss out people’s interest or availability!
